When can I start classes?

We have beginner level courses starting every few weeks. Choose your night – we have Monday and Wednesday start dates. Please check the timetable for the next start-date.

Why do I take a fixed course?

Classes are organized into courses to keep you learning with students who are at the same level as you, and dancing socially with students of all different levels. This means you can learn more and have more fun!

What if I've never danced before?

No worries! Our Beginners Level 1 is designed for absolute beginners, and will prepare you to move on to the next level.

What if I've taken some salsa classes before?

Please call us, as we are very experienced in determining which level is appropriate for you. We will help you "un-learn" any habits that aren't helpful, and make you the best dancer you can be!

What do I wear?

Dress comfortably. People often attend our classes after work, so they're frequently in business attire. Make sure your shoes aren't overly bulky and that your feet don't slip out of them when you move. Super-high heels may make it difficult to adjust to a new dance.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No, although you're welcome to bring friends! In fact, you learn best when you dance with a number of partners. That's why we rotate all the students regularly so you'll dance with everyone at least once!

Where can I park for the classes?

There is plenty of metered parking in the CBD after 6pm. There is also a large parking lot one block from the venue at the corner of Castlereagh St. and Goulburn St.

What if I have two left feet!?

Our instructors have experience with students with up to five left feet. We're very patient!

If I can’t continue with a course, can I get a refund?

We don’t offer refunds on course fees after the course starts. Normally we try to be quite flexible by, for example, allowing students to transfer their fees to future courses. This applies to private lesson packages as well. A refund request submitted 7 days or less before the commencement date of a course will incur a $20 administration fee.
